National Call for Hearing on the Raids

Over the past year, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested and detained thousands of men and women suspected of being undocumented immigrants.
The agency has reportedly left hundreds of children stranded at day care centers, schools and other places. ICE says it didn’t. The families say it did. Congress needs to conduct hearings to set the record straight.
The Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) calls on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to:
- Immediately hold hearings on the Immigration, Customs and Enforcement (ICE) raids and their impact on children and families;
- Pass sensible and humane comprehensive immigration reform legislation NOW.
From now until Friday, April 13, let’s make thousands of calls to Pelosi and Reid to say 1) hold hearings on the raids and; 2) Pass CIR.
